Configuring a Dead Man Switch

Dead Man Switch allows you to initiate all your recovery-plans if the app isn't opened for a specified number of months.

On the side-menu, select Dead Man Switch.

Select a period

Check the deadline. Each time you open the app, the deadline will be updated. If you don’t open the app for a long time, you will receive push notifications reminding you to do so.

The Dead Man Switch period is independent of the internal timelock period of each recovery plan. For example, if the Dead Man’s Switch period is 6 months and the recovery plan’s timelock period is 45 days, then if the app is not opened for 6 months, the recovery plan will be initiated, and the Bitcoin will reach the second wallet only 45 days later.
